The Adult Ministry exists to help people grow in their relationship with Christ and with others. We believe that this development happens best in the context of community. Life can get hectic and crazy, making it hard to slow down and stop long enough to develop strong, meaningful relationships with others outside the family unit. However, we need a relationship with Jesus Christ and a relationship with other Christ-followers.
This is why being involved in a small group is so important. These groups provide opportunity to really connect with others and build relationships, as well as strengthen your faith and walk with the Lord. Below you will find the small group times and meeting places for various life stages.

DEEPER DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES
Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm for a deeper dive into God's Word, theology, and the foundations of our faith and Christian walk. We are excited about the opportunity to offer classes for adults to grow with one another within the context of the local church.
Class Topic: Old Testament Survey
Taught by Pastor Brady, you will walk through the Old Testament and see the story of God’s people as they learned to worship the one, true God - examining their successes and failures. The entirety of the Old Testament and the Covenant points towards the coming of the Messiah and the story of redemption, and this study will be an encouragement to all those who attend.
OAK GROVE MEN
Oak Grove Men host Bible studies throughout the year and plan events to hang out and fellowship with each other across all generations - including fathers, sons, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, friends, coworkers, and families. You can see these activities on our Events page as they are planned and promoted to the church.
They will also begin having discipleship groups as men grow together in God’s Word and in life.
Oak Grove Women is a God-centered, Bible based and mission focused to disciple, reach and minister to women in our church and across Burleson. We are committed to helping women of all ages and stages in life by strengthening their walk with God through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, diverse ministry opportunities and the unique encouragement that comes through “women only” sharing. Through the encouragement, mentoring and nurturing and with accountability partnerships, we hope to equip women to grow in their love of Jesus. We pray these opportunities will inspire all ladies to become better daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, grandmothers and friends at home, church and in the community.
